INTRODUCTION
The Global Open University, Nagaland, India (A State University established by the
Government of Nagaland) has been legislated by the Nagaland State
Legislative Assembly under The Global Open University Act 2006 (Act 3 of
2006) which received the assent of the Governor of Nagaland on 30th August
2006 and was notified vide Notification number Law/Act-10/2006 on 18th
September 2006. The provisions of The Global Open University Act 2006 were
published in the Nagaland Official Gazette on 18th September 2006 for
general information.
The permanent campus of TGOU Nagaland spreading over 13 Acres of land.
Situated on the banks of the Dhansiri, (originally known as Dong-siri
meaning a ravine of peaceful habitation) Dimapur, often described as the
"Brick City" by European scholars and also by the Ahoms, was the ancient
capital of a ruling nation, the Dimasa, who were once a powerful and
predominant race in the Entire North-East India region particularly the
Brahmaputra Valley. The campus provides a unique serene and pollution free
academic environment. TGOU Nagaland has Academic area, Residential area and
area for Training centres and Research Centres.

# The Application form given below in the e-Prospectus must be dully filled
in along with the following documents.
# Attested copies of all examinations passed to date (10, 10+2 and
Graduation) and relevant documents.
# Three pass port size photographs.
# Minimum Qualification: Class Graduate in any Discipline
# Attested copies of Class X, XII and Graduation Pass documents # Three pass
port size photographs.
